SIlly Pumpkins

This week we made silly pumpkins.
The kids had a blast making these funny faces! We got a little messy too with some orange paint. It was a great project for the month of October.

Kumu Lahela

We started Hawaiian Studies last week with Kumu Lahela. We sang songs about thoughtfulness, danced hula, and started learning the names of body parts in Hawaiian. Kumu comes once a week for 40 minute lessons. The kids just love her and from the pictures you can see what a sweet lady she is!

Yay Kaili!!!

Yay Kaili!!!
She got the pillar award today for being trustworthy! We are so proud of Kaili! Talk to your kiddo at home about being trustworthy & honest in school, home, friendships, games, etc.

The Fun Run

The Fun Run was amazing! The kids did so great! We did a little running and a little zumba dancing! It was great to see them all break a sweat and smile all at the same time!

This beautiful rainbow came over us as we were outside at the fun run!

The kids are running under a perfect rainbow!

Dance Class with Ms. Maggie

Wow, these kids can move! We are in our 3rd week of dance class with Ms. Maggie and we're having a blast. We're learning how to move and do 8 counts, have control over our bodies as we dance, find a personal space in the dance room and not bump into each other, and we love getting to feel our bodies move to the rhythm of the music!
Here we are learning how to do a follow the leader dance game!
